Rockdale Co. Achieves Accreditation from National Commission on Correctional Health Care

August 18, 2023
NaphCare congratulates our partners and staff at the Rockdale County Jail (GA) on this outstanding achievement and ongoing commitment to healthcare standards.

The Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) announced that the Rockdale County Jail has earned accreditation from the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) by demonstrating compliance with NCCHC’s nationally-recognized standards of care for correctional health services in jails in partnership with NaphCare.

To earn accreditation, Rockdale County Jail underwent a rigorous professional assessment in February. During its meeting on April 30, 2023, NCCHC voted to accredit Rockdale County Jail for its compliance with NCCHC’s Standards for Health Services in Jails.

The national accreditation and the continued relationship with NCCHC will assist RCSO in maintaining the highest professional standards in patient care. The NCCHC was established to improve the quality of health care in jails, prisons, and juvenile facilities. This well-deserved recognition reflects the RCSO’s commitment to improving the workflows, documentation, and patient treatment process throughout its facility. In partnership with NaphCare, Rockdale County Jail has been able to take advantage of a comprehensive suite of products that enable proactive care.

At NaphCare, we extend a very special congratulations to our team members who improve and save lives in Rockdale County.
