The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) selects NaphCare to provide medical and mental health care at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center

NaphCare is proud to partner with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) to bring our mission – to improve and save lives – to the state of Maryland.

Beginning this month, NaphCare will provide medical and mental health care at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and Frederick County Work Release Center.

“We are excited to welcome NaphCare, a medical organization with extensive experience in correctional health care,” said FCSO Sheriff Chuck Jenkins. “They have a proven track record of being highly professional and ethical in the treatment of correctional populations and we look forward to our new partnership.”

NaphCare was awarded the Frederick County contract following a competitive RFP process. This will be NaphCare’s first partnership in the state of Maryland.

“At NaphCare, our mission is to improve and save lives in corrections,” said Brad McLane, NaphCare CEO. “We are honored to be selected to partner with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office to bring this mission and our proactive health care services to Frederick County.”

From coast to coast, we are dedicated to improving public health in local communities by raising the standard of medical and mental health care provided for people in America’s jails. We are excited for the opportunity to bring our preventive, proactive approach to patient care to Maryland for the first time.
