Frequently Asked Questions

NaphCare is currently in contract negotiations with Clark County, which will determine the start date. As of now, we anticipate a start date in early December.

Our goal is to hire all current health staff. To retain your position, you need to apply to NaphCare. You can view job openings and begin the application process today!

Yes – Clark County is requiring all healthcare staff to be re-badged and to go through background check. We are currently working out the details and will share more information once available.

Yes – you are able to work at multiple NaphCare sites as long as your schedule is approved by site leadership at both locations.

Yes – all full-time and part-time employees ages 21 and over are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan immediately. Eligible employees may contribute up to 80% of compensation before taxes, and NaphCare will match $0.25 for every dollar contributed up to 6% of eligible compensation.

Yes – NaphCare will provide a parking reimbursement for our staff at Clark County. More information will be provided during onboarding, or you can email HRTransitions@naphcare.com.

Site leadership will try to honor pre-scheduled vacation. However, schedule approvals will be based on site staffing needs. If you have not accrued enough PTO with NaphCare to cover the approved vacation, your time off will be unpaid.

NaphCare observes eight (8) national holidays. Full-time employees working for NaphCare are eligible to receive holiday pay. All hourly employees will receive holiday premium pay at time-and-a-half for any shifts worked that begin on the NaphCare holiday.

Yes – everyone who joins Team NaphCare will be trained on NaphCare’s electronic health record, TechCare, prior to transition. Following transition, you will also go through Team NaphCare orientation, which includes courses through our on-demand training platform, NaphCare University.

Yes – we care about your growth, both professionally and personally. We provide comprehensive, corrections-specific orientation and training that complies with NCCHC and ACA education standards for certification. We also provide in-service education programs, tuition reimbursement and access to free online CEUs.
