On-Site Dialysis Services

Dialysis Services: NaphCare began providing dialysis treatments in 1995, in response to the growing number of county, state, and federal inmates with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). We also provide professional staffing and strong management support from our corporate office. With more than a decade of experience in the delivery of renal care, we implement quality, cost-effective nephrology programs specifically tailored to the unique needs of our clients.



Team



Rick Apollo is responsible for the overall management of NaphCare's dialysis units, including personnel management and administration of contracts. Mr. Apollo is a Registered Nurse with more than 21 years of healthcare and administrative experience. His background includes budgeting, contract administration, and operations for dialysis clinics. Additional responsibilities include staffing and retention of medical professionals for clinic sites, such as nephrologists and nurse managers. As a liaison between dialysis units and corrections, and the Department of Corrections, he actively manages personnel, revenue, medical staff relations and ongoing corporate initiatives.

Mr. Apollo has extensive experience with federal, state, and local regulations related to dialysis. He has provided clinical dialysis nursing services on numerous occasions and within the confines of a maximum security state correctional facility.



Amber Leckenby oversees the Infectious Disease Monitoring including trending and analysis. She ensures the CDC standards and recommendations are met as well as working with the site manager to develop CQI projects when needed.

Ms. Leckenby has over 12 years of correctional healthcare experience and currently holds Registered Nurse licenses in multiple states. She provides overall site management for all of NaphCare's correctional chronic dialysis units, including the administrative, operational, clinical, and financial functions. She also provides continuous quality assessments and administers staff development. She is responsible for retention and recruiting, compliance and performance audits, policy and procedure maintenance, compliance with unit accreditations, and problem resolution.



Tanya Bates manages and organizes the details of the dialysis operation for a cohesive process. She is the point of contact for inquires and communications from site employees and vendors. Tanya organizes and reviews all monthly reports for completeness including CQI, billing, managers reports and technical logs. She will create reports where indicated. She purchases all dialysis supplies, ensures correct delivery, oversees purchase orders and PO spreadsheet, including monthly justifications and inventory at all sites.
