NaphCare Inc., Announces Five-Year Contract Award With Montgomery County, Ohio

NaphCare Inc., a Birmingham, Ala. based provider of correctional healthcare, was awarded a five-year contract to continue to provide the inmate healthcare services for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) in Dayton, Ohio. The agreement is for a total of five years, designed as annually renewable options.

“Continuing the relationship with MCSO is a tribute to the hard-working professionals on both NaphCare and MCSO’s team that serve in the detention center,” said NaphCare CEO James S. McLane. “We appreciate the working relationship and trust in our ability as a medical partner to work to continue to save the taxpayers of Montgomery County money for the next five years.”

NaphCare, Inc., continues its partnership with MCSO, which began in 2003. The Montgomery County Detention Center has an average daily population of 900 inmates. It also has been recognized as an “Accredited Adult Local Detention Facility” meeting the accreditation standards of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC), Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), and the American Correctional Association (ACA).
