NaphCare Community Involvement - Deputy Rick Daly Memorial Golf Tournament

NaphCare, Inc., Supports Deputy Rick Daly Memorial Golf Tournament in Clayton County, GA

NaphCare Inc., representatives recently sponsored and participated in the 2011 Rick Daly Memorial Golf Tournament, held at Lake Spivey Golf Club in Jonesboro, GA. All proceeds of this event went to assist the family of Deputy Rick Daly, who recently lost his life in the line of duty for Clayton County. Mr. Daly served the county for 25 years.

“We at NaphCare understand the sacrifice that law enforcement officers and their families make on a daily basis,” said Percy Goode, NaphCare’s Director of Business Development. “As a healthcare partner with correctional leaders across the country, we want them to know that we support all efforts involved in assisting them in their time of need.”

NaphCare recently attended the Major County Sheriff’s Association (MCSA) Conference held at the Grand Hotel on the historic Mackinac Island in Michigan. The MCSA is a professional law enforcement organization of elected sheriffs representing over 100 million people throughout the United States. NaphCare was honored to participate as a Gold Sponsor during this event; pictured is NaphCare’s Vice-President of Business Development, Chris Bell.

Black Hawk County, IA 2nd Annual DON’T Golf Tournament

On August 19, 2011, NaphCare was a Gold Sponsor for the 2nd Annual Black Hawk County, IA DON’T Golf Tournament; held at the South Hills Golf Course in Waterloo, IA. The golf tournament serves as an annual fund raiser for the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office Community Service Fund. The Community Services Program provides educational information for students throughout the county on the dangers of drugs, alcohol, and violent behavior. It also encourages positive decision making through understanding choices and consequences.

NaphCare was recently awarded the Florida Sheriffs Association’s Lifetime Honorary Member Award due to their generous contributions to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. Mr. Percy Goode (center), NaphCare’s Director of Business Development, accepted the award on behalf of the company. It was presented by Youth Ranches Board Chairman Clay County Sheriff Rick Beseler (left) and Youth Ranches President Roger Bouchard (right) during the Florida Sheriff’s Association Summer Conference in Daytona Beach, FL.

NaphCare employees recently brought their four legged friends to "STRUT" for a cause at the 2nd Annual Hand n Paw Mutt Strut Event held on April 16, 2011 at Birmingham, AL Rail Road Park. This year NaphCare was a silver sponsor hosting a 5 member team to participate in the 5k race and 1 mile fun run.

Hand in Paw is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of children and adults by serving those with physical, emotional, educational, or psychological needs through interactions with professionally-trained Animal-Assisted Therapy Teams. Funds raised at this event make it possible for Hand in Paw to impact the lives of countless members of the community.

On April 18, 2011, NaphCare was a birdie sponsor for the 30th Annual Gwinnett County Police Chief's Association Charity Golf Classic, held at the Gwinnett Country Club. All the proceeds of this event are dedicated to assist law enforcement employees and their families in times of need within the Gwinnett County, GA police department.

NaphCare Community Involvement - Children's Hospital Parent's Night Out

Children's Hospital Parent's Night Out

Each month Children's Hospital, Birmingham, AL provides a service called Parents Night Out. This program give the parents of patients a chance to take a break, have dinner, see other parents, and win prizes for their children in the hospital.

Recently NaphCare provided dinner, decorations, served as waiter/waitresses for the evening, and donated prizes for the games. Over 40 parents enjoyed the night's activities. Prizes such as dolls, race cars, DVDs, craft items, and large stuffed animals were awarded to won. A NaphCare employee states, "It's always a good feeling to help the parents and see the smiling faces of the children."

Florida Sheriff Youth Ranches - Check Presentation

In an effort to support such a worthy cause, NaphCare recently made a donation to the organization at the Florida Sheriffs Association Mid-Winter Conference in Amelia Island, FL. This donation was given to assist in raising the money needed to keep many of the campuses open and to continue providing the food, education, and other services to the children.

Chris Bell, Vice-President of Business Development and Lynn Weideman, Director of Marketing presented a check during the luncheon to Sheriff Brad Steube, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches of Manatee, County; FL.

"The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is so grateful to NAPHCARE for responding so quickly to the Sheriffs' fundraising challenge. The mission of the Army's Ten-Miler event is for the Military District of Washington to build spirit de corps, support fitness goals and enhance community relations. Tens of thousands of runners from across the country participated as they raced, starting at the Pentagon, passing the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and ending at the Capitol Building. What a sightseeing adventure!

On September 27, 2010, NaphCare was a Birdie Sponsor for the Annual Jim Coats Charity Golf Tournament, held at the Bellaire Country Club in Clearwater, FL. All the proceeds of this event went to benefit the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches. This foundation contributes to the success of youth boys and girls across the state by providing educational, leadership, and life skill programs. Toys for Tots

As a continued effort to remain involved in our community, NaphCare, both in our corporate office and site locations, participated in our Second Annual Toys for Tots drive. This worthy cause provides less fortunate children between the ages of 6 weeks -13 years with toys during the Christmas season. Thank you to all the employees who participated in creating a little magic during this holiday season.
