2016 Tommy Ward Memorial Scholarship Recipients
BIRMINGHAM, AL – NaphCare, Inc., an independent partner to correctional facilities nationwide for innovative healthcare management and technology solutions, is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2016 NaphCare Foundation Tommy Ward Memorial Scholarships. College scholarships in the amount of $10,000 each have been awarded to eight students from Vestavia Hills High School (VHHS) in Vestavia Hills, AL.
In its fourth year, this scholarship fund was inspired by Tommy Ward, a VHHS coach who was killed in a tragic accident over 20 years ago. NaphCare is proud to join VHHS in honoring Coach Ward’s legacy by selecting deserving students to receive scholarships each year.
For 2016, the NaphCare Foundation is proud to award these scholarships to Annie Brasfield, Channing Freeman, Clara Hotten, Edmund Wyatt Cantrell, Grace Redden, Katie Corona, Margaret Anne Farris, and William Snell.
